Steamboat Springs is a special place,

Anyone who has been here will tell you that.

Maybe because

There is the Steamboat Ski Area, with 3,000 skiable acres and 164 trails with 65 miles of fun.

Maybe because

Steamboat has produced more Olympians than any other place in the world.

Maybe because

There's famous Champagne powder under bright Colorado sunshine.

Or maybe it's simply the...

The People with their welcoming hospitality.

Steamboat in all four seasons is the perfect destination.

Steamboat Springs is surrounded by over 1,000 miles of public land allowing
a wide variety of year-round adventure. In the winter enjoy not only
Steamboat's famous champagne powder, but miles of cross-country ski
trails, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing, dog sledding or just
relaxing in the infamous hot springs.
In the summer, enjoy boating on Steamboat Lake or Stagecoach Reservoir,
tubing on the Yampa River or fishing or hiking to beautiful Fish Creek Falls.
If you like fine dining and shopping, Steamboat has many restaurants
to choose from and some great boutiques.

The Strings in the Mountains Music Festival brings musicians from all over
the world where you'll enjoy free concerts during the summer.
